Even satellites can collide. Little accidents can unite. Satellite Stories are four daring satellite heroes from the planet of summery breeze. Their mission is to bring you nostalgia from events that you never really experienced.

Satellite Stories are Olli-Pekka (drums), Jyri (Bass) Marko (Guitar) and Esa (Vocals-Guitar) from Oulu, Finland. Live their energetic dance indie-pop has given them a growing reputation as an amazing party band.

Johann van der Smut ist weder ein holländischer Liedermacher, noch ein belgischer Stuntman und am Ende doch beides irgendwie. Johann van der Smut ist die Dreieinigkeit drei junger Männer mit Wut und System. Mit dem Gefühl des Liedermachers und zielgenauen Gewalt des Stuntman schreien sie uns ihre sanften Parolen in die offene Brust. Ihre nun erscheinende Debüt-Single „23 Grad“ ist nüchterne Bestandsaufnahme und hymnisches Loblied zugleich. Und es ist seit langem die schönste sich selbsterfüllende Prophezeiung wenn Sänger Max König vom Moment singt, der alles wieder gerade rückt, und ein ebensolcher im gleichen Moment passiert.

Having been featured on the top-10 of The Hype Machine and We Are Hunted, from MTV tv-series Jersey Shore, or the thousands of Soundcloud plays raise thought: “these guys really make some wonderful racket!”. Or maybe you spotted their live show and instantly became a fan. World music media and music industry professionals chose Satellite Stories as one of the most promising Finnish bands for 2012.

March 2012 saw the bands 10 track “Scandinavia EP” released on legendary Japanese record label Rallye, April 28th will see the band release their debut single in Europe “Anti-Lover” with a full three continent touring programme in the pipeline, 2012 is sure to be a Satellite Story year.
