Die kanadische Band aus Ontario spielt moderne high energy Country Musik und mischt dabei Elemente aus der Amerikanisch-kanadischen Folkmusik, aber auch Rock'n'Roll, Hillybilly und Punk Rock Elemente in Ihren Musikstil.



Wie fast jede nordamerikanische Band haben auch DOGHOUSE ROSE jede Menge Tourerfahrung und sie wissen mit jedem Publikum umzugehen. Die Livepresentation der Band ist Grandios!

Da werden Musikinstrumente wild getauscht, es wird auf ihnen getanzt und der Kontrabass wird von der attraktiven und klasse Sängerin SARAH BETH auch mal als Sprungbrett benutzt!

Zusammen mit JEFFERSON SHEPPARD bildet sie seit langem ein erfolgreiches Singer & Songwriter Duo, das es sogar schon in die Country Awards geschafft hat!
Komplettiert wird die Combo durch CARL WELCH an den Drums und zuständig für Backingvocals.

Many miles down the dusty back roads of South Western Ontario, the roots of country music grow wild in the elements of folk, punk and rock n roll. This unique, natural occurrence could only be harnessed through the music of Doghouse Rose. Award winning singer/songwriting team Sarah Beth and Jefferson Sheppard are harnessing up to tour down the endless road of the traveling musician.



After more than 600 shows in only a few years working together, 2012 presented a turning point for the well known acoustic duet ´Sarah & Jeff’ when they made the grab for a Jack Richardson Music Award and then each racked up a London Music Award for Country and Bluegrass. Modestly outgrowing their britches, Doghouse Rose started seeing the surge of media attention and better shows with more established recording artists like Marty Stuart, Martina McBride, The Barenaked Ladies, Blackie & The Rodeo Kings, The Oakridge Boys, Elliott Brood, and Tim Hus
As an elemental force to be reckoned with, Doghouse Rose have played with some of the best session players from miles around to relentlessly deliver a world class show every time. Performing as a duo, Doghouse Rose can start a Riot. Often performing with a four or five piece band, sometimes things can get crazy before the first note is even played.
While in the midst of recording their first full-length album, Doghouse Rose decided to release a teaser 4 song E.P. called "No Mercy" which had caught the attention of the hot new indie label "Lets Riot Music" and was released on the label February 2013. Before the E.P. was even out of the starting gate the song "Drag Me Down" was picked up for the Let´s Riot compilation Vol 1. and launched into a frenzy of press and radio play. The title track of the E.P. was later released on the label´s second compilation Vol 2.
Doghouse Rose are no strangers to the road. In their first year they have toured western Canada, and ventured across the ocean to Europe. With the upcoming release of their self titled debut full length album on Red Ryder Records and tours across Canada and a return to Europe covering several countries, 2014 will be an endless road story.
